The sculpture had  considerable  areas of tarnish and evidence of where previous cleaning products and fingerprints have affected the polish. In addition, there were a lot of pits from the original casting quality of the brass. Within these pits, further dirt, tarnish and contaminants were  caught. There were also identifiable areas of green patches, likely caused by a reaction by the copper in the brass and a previous polishing agent not being effectively buffed and removed from the pits. Client requested for a thorough clean and renewed wax polish.
