The bronze, titled Horse attributed to Fernando Botero had multiple issues mainly on the top of the human figure’s head as well as the upper areas of her body which showed signs of deterioration and has left the exposing bronze directly to the immediate atmosphere. There is also peeling of existing paint and primer due to direct overexposure to the sun’s hear and rays. This is a natural occurrence when the areas of heat concentration no longer have any protective wax coating. Client has requested for repatina to revive artwork to its original state.
